Black Tie Optional. Hi, Maria here. I know what I look like in my dress and you will not be able to "upstage" me. I want you to use this wedding as an excuse to go all out and wear those clothes that you never have the opportunity to wear. Our theme is very Victorian inspired so Victorian or Regency inspired outfits are highly encouraged. I want y'all to go all out. We do suggest shoes that can work on a mix of limestone and grass.

Please avoid wearing the following colors unless directed by one of us: grape, navy, or hunter green. These colors are being used by the wedding party and direct family members.

No. We love all y'all's kids but if their name isn't on the invite, they should not come. We are giving you the chance to have a night off and we hope you take advantage of it. You may see some children at the wedding but they were invited by name.

If your invite envelope had your name and "and Guest", you have a plus one. If only your name appears on the envelope, you do not have a plus one.

No. Do not bring your own alcohol as this is not allowed by our venue and we do not want to get kicked out. The bar will be serving beer and wine. If there is a drink that you would like to have, please add it to the food preferences part of the RSVP.

The Kincaid House requires us to use valet parking for an event of this size (more than 50 people). They should take care of everything.
