We met during our last two years at Saginaw Valley State University. Both of us were joyfully consumed by the new and beautiful relationship we had. Dinners, movies, study dates, and rides to class were our typical days. About six months into our relationship, COVID-19 flipped us and the entire world upside down. Being separated by a pandemic and a two-hour drive only brought us closer together through FaceTime calls and Netflix parties. We both finally graduated from college and started our first adult jobs. All the while learning more about each other, our families, and what we both wanted for the rest of our lives. Fast forwarding to June of 2022, we both excitedly decided to make our relationship one that will last for the rest of our days.
