There is no dress code, but we recommend dressing Semi-Formal. It is a country themed wedding and most of the wedding party will be wearing their cowboy hats and boots!

The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead of the ceremony time at 5:00pm. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 20 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to park and walk to the ceremony space and find a seat.

Both! The ceremony will be held outdoors in the shade and the wedding reception will be indoors.

Yes, there are two nearby hotels you can consider. We have a room block at the Ayres Hotel & Spa – Mission Viejo, which is where the wedding party is staying. Additionally, the Ayres Suites Mission Viejo is located right next door and offers a comfortable option for guests. Both hotels are just minutes away from our wedding venue and provide great amenities for a relaxing stay.

You can book your room by calling Ayres Hotel & Spa – Mission Viejo at 949-455-2545 and mentioning the “Ries & Lynd Wedding.” Alternatively, you can book online using the Group Code OP2656.

Guests are welcome to check in as early as Monday, September 22nd, and check out as late as Wednesday, October 1st.

The special rate is $159 per night for rooms within the block.

Yes, the last day to book a room within the room block is August 28th, 2025.

Rooms can be booked outside the block dates depending on availability, but the special rate is only valid for stays from Monday, September 22nd to Wednesday, October 1st.

John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Orange County is the closest airport. Other airports are Long Beach Airport (LGB) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

A lot! And options for everyone. We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour. Followed by a buffet dinner with salad, appetizers, and 3 entrée options (meat, chicken, and fish). As well as a bunch of other foods and yummy desserts! Vegan/gluten-free/nut-free options are also available. Please just let us know when RSVPing.
