Darian had just finished her sophomore year of college and was coming home for the summer to be with friends and family. Meanwhile, Justin graduated and was now home from college and was thinking of applying for the Bachelor. Just kidding, he does not share in Darian's obsession with the show. While Darian was home for the summer, she attended a wedding she had been invited too. She was given a clue that Justin wanted to meet her at this wedding but she was unsure what would happen. Multiple times throughout the wedding, people Darian knew had mentioned something about Justin wanting to meet her. Darian had never met or seen Justin before. Then Darian heard his best man speech and thought "Oh he is CUTE and seems funny and so genuine." Later that evening, Justin introduced himself and asked Darian for a dance to country music that he had requested for her because he had heard "she liked it." This made Darian instantly intrigued by this mystery man who speaks her love language. LOL. They danced to "Country Girl Shake it For Me" by Luke Bryan and Justin was trying to show off his dance moves. Darian was still interested...surprisingly, hehe. AND THEN...Darian walked away to get some fresh air and soon after a couple men started to make their way over to her. Darian had a feeling of what was going on but then just like that Justin was there to save her from random guys who talk too much ;) Soon after, Justin asked Darian for her number and Darian accidentally gave him the wrong one. Justin was lucky enough to meet up with her the day after the wedding for frozen yogurt and was able to get the right number this time. After waiting the minimum requirement of three days, Justin called Darian and asked her on their first date. Darian was impressed by his courage to call and not text. Darian had a good feeling about this one. After those first couple dates, the rest was history. Throughout the last three and a half years they have been through joyful and tragic moments. Darian admires how loyal and committed and caring Justin is and has always shown himself to be, especially having been through the passing of her father this year. Justin is unwavering in his love for Darian and that continuously reminds her of God's love for her. People tell Darian that Justin reminds her of her dad sometimes and that makes her feel so good. Justin is goofy, loving, caring and thoughtful and a light in this world just like her dad was. Justin feels as though Darian is a blessing in his life through her constant patience and kindness. He is thankful she is always there to remind him of the important things in life and that it is alright to relax and enjoy the moment sometimes. He loves to love her in all of her beauty. Through every moment, they have most importantly found love and joy and peace because of their Savior Jesus and His unwavering love and kindness and none of our story would have been possible without God. We have been together for three and a half years now, and it has been the best years taking on all of life side by side. We both could not be more excited and filled with joy and love to be taking on forever together.
