At the end of June, Justin received military orders and will be moving to 29 Palms (California) on September 30th. Casey will be starting graduate school for social work in Baltimore at the beginning of September.

We will be getting married September 21, 2024, then starting long distance. We plan to take monthly trips to see one another until Casey finishes school and we can live together!

We met on Tinder in November 2022 and went on our first date at a Coldstone Creamery. We began officially dating Novemeber 21, 2024.

Justin met Casey's parents at the beginning of the year. We started camping together in April of 2023. Our good friends kindly allowed us to camp on their property and in exchange we (Justin) worked on the house on the property. Every weekend we had off that summer we went camping!

Soon we started upgrading our camping setup, and we bought a rooftop tent. We explored the Alleghany mountains and fell in love with road tripping together and decided to keep traveling.

In October of 2023, we road tripped to Niagara Falls with some friends. We saw the falls, and spent the night in Canada. We got to explore downtown Toronto and see the CN Tower.

In December of 2023 into January of 2024, we went to California so Casey could meet Justin's family. During the trip, we went to see Sequoia National Park, where Justin had planned a surprise proposal. He waited until the end of the "family pictures" and found a private spot in front of the General Sherman tree and asked Casey to marry him.

She of course said yes! We got engaged January 8th, 2024.

Since getting engaged, we continued to travel and have gone several places. We've been back to California to visit Justin's family, visit Casey's parents, went to DC, visited extended family in Pennsylvania, camped at our friends' property again, and most recently went to Assateague Island State Park (where we camped with horses). We're enjoying the rest of our summer together and will keep camping until Justin's move!
