Please arrive no later 1245 and follow the Italian Gardens. It is to the left of the fountain. The stone pathway down has a railing however there is golf cart transportation provided down the hill if you are unable to walk down.There are public restrooms near the fountain. Due to the historic architecture there will be 75 chairs. Please try to save these for those who need to sit. If you do not have a seat please stand on the pathway/garden adjacent to chairs. If you arrive after the ceremony start time at 1pm we will not be able to permit you and ask you to join us at the reception instead. 


You may park at the Hampton St/Mansion End parking lot of Maymont. There is also street parking if the parking lot is full.

If you arrive after the ceremony start time of 1pm we will be unable to permit you to the ceremony space due to timeframe restrictions. We kindly ask you to instead join us at the reception to celebrate. Thank you for understanding.

Attire is semi-formal

We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with our closest family and friends. To keep our wedding an intimate gathering we ask that only those addressed on the invitation attend. Thank you for understanding.

Although we love your kids, regretfully we were unable to accommodate everyone's children due to the size of our venue. We ask that only those addressed on your invitation attend. If we were unable to invite your children we hope that you will see this as an opportunity to have a day out for yourselves and enjoy the party with us! Thank you for understanding.


We kindly ask that you do not bring anyone who is not named on your invitation to the wedding. Due to space, we had to keep our guest count limited. We want to keep our event filled with people we know and have asked to attend. If someone in your party cannot make it, please indicate the response as decline under their name on the RSVP. The ceremony will be outside at Maymont Italian Gardens and the reception will be inside at the Powhatan Banquet Hall located in Pocahontas State Park.
