Our Wedding

This love story started with 2 awkward teenagers who met at Marian Days in Missouri in 2010. She was the social butterfly, he was standoff-ish. They locked eyes across the restaurant and introduced themselves, followed by a peculiar handshake that took Theresa off guard. At this moment, her heart fluttered in confusion and interest. Although they exchanged contact information, both lacked the courage to pursue further. They did find each other on social media, only to not utilize the opportunity. 		The year is 2020, 10 years later after their initial meeting. The world stopped, and new opportunities appeared. Justin just completed his probationary firefighter training, and Theresa started working from home due to the pandemic. Justin celebrated with an impulsive trip to Dallas and Theresa had nothing, but time on her hands. She was ecstatic to show the bustling city life to a small town introvert. 		After meeting up, Justin greeted Theresa with the same handshake from 10 years ago. As she experienced this familiar touch, past feelings resurfaced all those years ago. Feelings of attraction and intrigue filled her mind as they spent time together. Soon after, they decided to pursue their relationship further and took the risks of a long distance relationship. 		After 2.5 years into the relationship, Justin took the plunge and proposed to Theresa. With heart in hand and anxiety in mind, Justin took one knee and asked Theresa's hand in marriage. The proposal happened on December 26th, 2022 at the Dallas Arboretum, one day after Christmas. 		Justin &amp; Theresa are happy to have shared this story with all of you. Thank you for joining in celebration of the wedding!
