Justin and I crossed paths on this South Asian dating app called ‘DilMil’ and from the very first text, our connection felt like the easiest and the most delightful conversations. Despite living in two different continents and in two different time zones, ‘time’ never seemed to be a trouble.

After two months came this exhilarating message: "I'm coming to Spain for a business trip, can I come to Dublin to see you?" I was overjoyed and couldn’t wait to meet Justin. Our first meeting on September 25th, 2021, turned into an unplanned day of pure magic, forgetting the post night shift exhaustion amidst hours of walking and talking – our perfect first date. We both knew we liked each other and we could take things forward, but we didn not discuss it. Justin flew back to Spain that night.

Two months went in a whirlwind of constant video calls and messages and we had our second reunion in December. Despite all the Covid restrictions in place, we could still make the trip happen. This trip was filled with unforgettable moments – from picking him up at the airport to exploring Galway, savoring dinners, witnessing sunrises turn into sunsets, and sharing the quiet joy of being together. Long-distance challenges made these moments cherished and we enjoyed every bit of it.

The decision to spend our lives together led us to embark on the Fiancé Visa journey in March 2022. The distance couldn't dampen our spirits as we continued our daily video calls and non-stop texting. A year later, Justin and I went on our much-awaited Spain and France trip to celebrate our first dating anniversary. Little did I know, Justin had orchestrated a picturesque proposal during a photo shoot in Paris, France. Turning around, I found him on one knee, ring in hand – a breathtaking moment of genuine surprise. I said YES, and the rest is history.

We’ve bid some of the hardest goodbyes in these years, and anticipation fills the air as we count down to our wedding on 24th February 2024. With hearts full of hope and joy we pray for God’s blessings on our journey!
