In the summer of 2018, Justin, a midwestern charmer from Greenville, OH, and Charlie, a New England brainiac from Brewster, NY, both swiped right. The vibes were right, and soon they were sweating through their first date at Kings Island on a hot, humid, Ohio summer day. Between the rollercoasters and awkward first-date jitters, something clicked. The risk they had taken on a first date at an amusement park paid off, and they were both eager to see each other again.

Their love story took off quickly. They started dating, moved in together, and eventually swapped Ohio for Washington, D.C. in March 2022. Along the way they’ve navigated moves and career changes, purchased a home, and—most notably—became parents to their 65-pound Goldendoodle, Benjamin. Benny joined the family in June 2023, immediately claiming every sock, cushion, and heart in their home. He’s mischievous, adorable, and thriving as the pampered pup of two dads who treat him like royalty.

Over the years they’ve shown how well opposites can complement each other. Justin brings the energy, blasting EDM in the kitchen just as he would at the gym. Charlie, a plant enthusiast and triathlete, provides the calm and balance. Justin flexing his muscles, while Charlie’s flexing his brain, together, they’re the perfect blend of energy, intellect, and heart.

On August 25, 2023, Charlie proposed (by putting the ring on the wrong hand), kicking off a weekend celebration with family and friends, filled with laughter and joy. Justin, who had been fully immersed in their kitchen remodel, was completely taken by surprise. But Charlie handled it like a pro, making sure the only thing on Justin’s mind that day was saying “yes.”

Now, the countdown is on to their wedding day: November 14, 2025. Justin and Charlie will say “I do” at the breathtaking Hotel Du Village in New Hope, PA. Just outside the hallmark town on the Delaware River, the venue charmed them both from the moment they saw it.

It’s a perfect backdrop to start this next chapter of their lives. After years of being frequent wedding guests and practically professional hype men, it’s finally their moment to take center stage as the grooms of the hour. Trust us, they’re ready!
