The Adventure That Started It All

Ka and Paul met… and Ka immediately scared him. Truly—terrified him. Her first “hello” plan? Let’s just say it involved a little mischief, an unforgettable Vegas weekend… and the full version of that story? Well, it took place in Vegas, and as everyone knows: WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS STAYS IN VEGAS. What can be shared is that their very first weekend together involved skydiving. Yes, Ka convinced Paul to jump out of a perfectly good airplane the first time they met. Probably not the typical “nice to meet you” activity, but it set the tone perfectly for them. Somewhere between free-falling at 13,000 feet and laughing through the whirlwind, they realized they could be fully themselves with each other, and that kind of comfort, so instant and unforced, felt unexpectedly special. Then came the years that followed: years of friendship, countless trips, inside jokes, and becoming each other’s favorite travel partner and adventure buddy. Whether exploring new cities or navigating everyday life, Ka and Paul always seemed to find their way back to each other. And that’s how it all began: one startled but resilient Paul, one unpredictable but fearless Ka, a skydiving leap, and a Vegas weekend they’ll never fully explain… followed by a friendship that slowly, sweetly, and inevitably turned into something more.
