The Logan County Historical Society owns and operates the Logan County History Center which includes the Orr Mansion, Logan County Museum & Transportation Museum addition, Archives, & Photo Archives.
The History Center is a unique facility comprised of The Orr Mansion, The Logan County Museum, and the Transportation Museum. All the museum buildings are connected making it enjoyable to visit all three without going outside. The History Center also includes the Historical Society Office and gift shop. The History Center Archives collection and Logan County Genealogical Society Library are housed on the second floor of the Transportation Museum.
The Purpose of the Logan County History Center is to promote education on the history of Logan County and the collection and exhibit of artifacts, documents, and other historical items from all of Logan County.
