Scott and Kaci met at Don's Seafood in Gonzales in June of 2011. They worked together for 5 years. The two of them made many memories bartending together and continued growing their friendship outside of work.

They remained friends even after their days at Don's ended. They went through different journeys in life but remained close and eventually decided they were more than friends. All close friends and family say they knew they would end up together.

They started dating and fell in love in July of 2022. In their first year and a half together, they remodeled and purchased the home they now share.

On December 19, 2023, Scott asked Kaci to be his wife. Now on June 28, 2024, they will be wed in front of their closest friends and family.
