It all started in September 2022, when a dating app (and a shared love for frozen mango) brought us together. Our first date was at Vespa in Northport, NY, and right from the start, we felt an undeniable connection. One date quickly turned into many, as we explored fun new spots, discovered our shared love of the outdoors, sushi, and meaningful time with loved ones.

Just six weeks after meeting, we decided to take a spontaneous road trip to Vermont—and from there, our story really took off.

Kacie was drawn to Kyle’s kindness, open heart, and willingness to try all her quirky ideas—yes, including walking her cats on a leash. Kyle was intrigued by Kacie’s confidence (and her bright red lipstick), her humor, and, of course, her “crazy gluten allergy.” From day one, we just clicked.

Over nearly three wonderful years together, we've shared countless adventures—from getaways to Aruba, the Bahamas, and Maine, to cozy nights in our first apartment in Babylon, NY. We navigated a year of long-distance between NYC and St. James, and eventually made our home together back on Long Island.

Our proposal was just as full of surprises as our love story. Kacie planned a surprise 30th birthday for Kyle, but Kyle had a bigger surprise up his sleeve—he turned that celebration into the perfect proposal, surrounded by the people we love most.

We truly feel so lucky to have found one another. We complement each other in all the best ways and make every day better just by being together.

We can't wait to celebrate with all of you on June 19th—the day we’ll officially make our "forever anniversary."
