Chandler and Kacie first started dating during the COVID lockdown. While there was not much to do they filled their time with many game and movie nights. Once establishments began to reopen they would frequent Hotshots, one of first places to reopen. It was there they found their knack for darts.

The Bride and Groom quickly found that they both enjoyed spending time outdoors together. They would frequent the local trails and take the dog of honor on adventures through the woods. They would often go fishing or camping together. One night Kacie really wanted to try and frog gig. They quickly gathered their gear and gigged some frog at a local pond. Ever since they have made it an annual tradition to gig frogs.

The day of the engagement started with Jodi baking homemade cinnamon rolls. Little did Kacie know that Jodi was running into some slight “setbacks” in the kitchen. Logan and Chandler had a few “projects” to do as well. Kacie quickly became impatient as the morning quickly passed by, all she wanted to do was go to the zoo. Once arriving at the zoo they made their way to the penguin exhibit. Kacie was so excited to see her feathered friends! As the line became shorter, she drew closer to the biggest surprise. As they made their way through the crowd Kacie pointed out her favorite penguins, before getting their “picture” taken. It was then Chandler told Kacie that he had found his pebble and his forever, with tears of joy, she said yes!
