Our Wedding

We met 4 and a half years ago on POF 👀our first date was to La Botana (I love Mexican food) Michael and his love language scared me so I ran. Fast Forward to Declan and I moving into our apartment in Early, TX.Michael and I started talking again August 2021, the month Declan and I moved to Early, TX. I kept most of our relationship hush hush because I was still scared of how amazing Michael is. 😍 April 2022, Easter weekend, after long talks about EVERYTHING important to us, Michael asked me if I wanted to take it further and date....Of course I said yes! Between driving back and forth from Early to Bangs, church evenings and weekends, soccer games and late night phone conversations, I fell HARD (que the swoon).The weeks leading up to March 4th, 2023 Michael planned this very elaborate kid-free weekend in Fort-Worth for the both of us. Michael PROPOSED at the Forth Worth Water Garden (que crying like a baby). 🥹🥹🥹We had talked at great lengths about moving in together and what that would mean for the kids. We talked to the kids and to our pastor before we made the decision that would change not only my last name but so many other things. We talked about what kind of ceremony we would want and we were torn because he had a wedding ceremony and I didn't so we agreed to do both. Get married sooner and then have a Vowel Ceremony so I could still walk down the aisle. We both didn't want to live together unless we were married so on July 14, 2023 I became Mrs. DeLisle. 🥰
