Our journey began in high school — Kade was a sophomore, and Taylor was a junior. From the start, there was an easy connection, and we quickly became inseparable.

After graduation, we both ended up at Co-Lin — Kade on the baseball field and Taylor on the soccer field — continuing to grow together while pursuing our passions.

Over the next two years, we built a strong foundation — balancing school, sports, and life together. We learned how to support one another through both everyday routines and major life changes.

When we transferred to Belhaven, the pace picked up. We were both full-time nursing students, working hard toward our degrees while continuing to cheer each other on in everything from clinicals to game days.

Through all of it, our commitment to one another stayed constant. We’ve learned that love is more than a feeling — it’s a daily choice to be patient, present, and supportive, even when life gets challenging.

In 2024, just before Taylor’s third semester of nursing school, Kade proposed — and she said yes. Taylor will graduate in May 2025, and Kade will graduate in May 2026.
