Kaden and Mary's paths crossed many times during high school and their time at SDSU, but their story begins on October 22, 2022 at Skinner's Pub in Brookings. Kaden decided to order a drink next to Mary when they both recognized each other and sparked a conversation. After Kaden left the bar counter, Mary's friend ordered a round for the group - including Kaden. Kaden then asked Mary for a way to contact her and they have chatted every day since. Kaden eventually asked Mary to be his girlfriend on November 10th, and the rest is history.
