Our story began back in December of 2021, when our best friends Matt and Katie told us about each other. We began texting that month and ended up going on our first date December 22, 2021. Everything from the start was so natural and we got along so well. The next day we went on a date again and shared our first kiss. We made things official in January of 2022 when Alex got back from vacation. As the months went on we grew closer and closer. It wasn’t long till we told each other “I Love You”. We grew close as a couple but also as best friends. Leaning on each other through good times and hard times. We have traveled so much together and with our families. We’ve gone to Kauai, the Grand Canyon, San Diego, Disney World, and a Disney cruise to the Bahamas. We share a love of travel, hockey and Star Wars. There is so much laughter and joy in our relationship, and with our competitive natures there is always something to win. We have enjoyed family games night with both sides of each others families. After our first anniversary things continued to grow between us and the talk of being together forever began. Little did I know what he was planning. He kept it a secret but he planned the most amazing proposal. We were in Disney World Hollywood Studios at the Millenium Falcon when Alex got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! So here we are stepping into the next chapter of our story!
