Caleb & Kaia’s Golden Gate Bridge Hilltop Proposal

Written By: David (a tale ahead photography) On a crisp January day, Caleb pulled off an unforgettable Golden Gate Bridge hilltop proposal to Kaia, creating a moment they’ll cherish forever. Originally, we had planned for a romantic sunset moment, but as the weather forecast grew uncertain, we decided to bump up the time to midday. It turned out to be the perfect choice, as the lighting was soft and beautiful, and the overcast sky gave the scene a dreamy vibe. Kaia had no idea what was coming. When Caleb dropped to one knee, her reaction was pure magic — shock, joy, and so much love all at once. For me, it’s moments like this that make capturing proposals so special! The view from the hilltop was stunning, with the Golden Gate Bridge stretching across the Bay and the city skyline in the distance. It made for a breathtaking backdrop to their special moment. After the proposal, Kaia and Caleb shared a quiet, happy embrace as they took in the significance of what had just happened. Adjusting the timing of the shoot to beat the weather worked out so wonderfully, and I feel lucky to have been a part of this incredible chapter in their story. Congratulations, Caleb and Kaia!

What should I wear?

We can't wait to celebrate with you! Cocktail attire with a summer vibe is the perfect fit.

Is the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be held inside the barn, and the reception will take place in the pavilion, which has plenty of airflow to keep things comfortable.

Can I bring a plus one?

We would love to invite everyone to our wedding, but unfortunately cannot accommodate plus ones unless specifically indicated on your invitation. If you’re unsure, please feel free to reach out and ask. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive about 20-25 minutes before the ceremony starts!

Will the ceremony and reception take place at the same location?

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Ivory North, just in different spaces.
