Our story begins like most other young couples who people think will never make it..except we did. The story goes all the way to 2019 where Kaidance decided to add Aidan on Snapchat, despite not knowing who he was. The first snap they ever shared was “Do I know you”. Kaidance was always worried about adding people she did not know but he seemed like he was worth the risk.
From there the relationship only began to grow.. well as much as it can for two 15 year olds. Many Snapchat’s later and many conversations, the two became official on October 28th 2019 and have never looked back.
For their graduation trip they decided to take their first vacation together despite only being 17 years old. That trip lead them to the beautiful city of Saint Augustine, a city they have come to love today. From that vacation three years ago, they have always long to go back. Little did Kaidance know Aidan longed to go back for a different reason.
February 28th 2025.. after five and half years together and three years since they had been back to Saint Augustine they were glad to be back.
That same February 28th evening Aidan took Kaidance up to the Fort where they had to walk around three times (yes, three times) before he asked her to marry her..to which she said yes and now they get to plan this beautiful wedding with all of you!
Take this as a lesson that the fort is a really long walk around…AND young love doesn’t mean impossible love.
