Ethan and I have quite the simple story. We met during my freshman year of high school and we had biology together. We were friends but just like a lot of people, we lost touch after high school. A few years later Ethan found me on social media and reached out. So much had changed, Ethan was in the Marine Corps and I was a nanny, it was weird to see the other person as a real adult.

Our daily texts turned into nightly phone calls and in December of 2021, I took a trip to visit him. Neither of us EVER planned on being in a long distance relationship but over the next 2 years that was exactly what we did. We fell in love that December and made a promise in February to see each other once a month and to make it work until Ethan’s contract ended in May of 2024. Shortly after, in June of 2022 Ethan was deployed, we are very proud to say that was the only point in time we did not see each other once a month. Once he got home, we got back into our schedule and got engaged. A while later, we found our we were pregnant with a beautiful baby girl and decided it was best for me to move to North Carolina so we could raise our family together. I moved in March of 2023 and we welcomed baby MJ in October of 2023. We now have a beautiful 9 month old baby girl and another precious baby girl on the way due in November of 2024.

To say life is not what we had planned is an understatement, but if you ask either of us I know we’d both tell you that we could not have ever imagined a more beautiful life than the one we’ve created together. We’re so excited to celebrate our love and the life we are building with the most important people in our lives! We cannot wait to see you all!
