Throughout the course of our lives, we have corresponded in the same area and never crossed paths. That was until a few summers ago, when we came across each other on social media, noticing we lived so close. We began to talk constantly, and immediately connected.

First Date: We went on our first date a few days after we met. Owen let me pick, so I chose to go to Belmont. We decided to to get Chic Fil A, but the line was so long we ate in the car. Unfortunately, he decided to wear white shorts, and I sprayed ketchup all over them. We were never able to get the stain out. A little later in the date single ladies decided to play on the radio and I turned it up. He immediately turned it down and asked me to be his girlfriend. I was in shock but of course said yes!

Engagement: The morning prior, I asked Owen if he wanted to watch the sunrise. He immediately said yes, which was strange because he didn't like waking up early on the weekends. Later in the day, I decided I didn't want to go, but he insisted that we did. I didn't think much of it and agreed to go. The next morning, when we arrived at middle creek, there was a man setting up his fishing rod already. I noticed Owen was very upset, and ended up getting out of the car for a few minutes. I told him to turn the truck around and he laughed and told me to look at what he did. When I walked to the bed of the truck marry me letters were spread out with blankets, pillows, and a bible. I was so excited, and again, of course I said yes!
