Our Story
Update
SAME WEDDING, NEW YEAR
Last year, like many engaged couples, we made the difficult decision to postpone our large wedding celebration due to safety concerns regarding Covid-19. Our vows, however, were not canceled as we said "I do" in the pouring down rain during an intimate ceremony on our original date. Our first year as a married couple has been an adventure, filled with lots of love, laughs, and even a few tears. As we look forward to our marriage celebration this year, we are so excited to renew our vows in front of ALL our loved ones and finally have the party we've all been waiting for!
Currently, Washington state is fully open regarding weddings. We understand that our guests have varying beliefs regarding Covid and its implications in our world today. We kindly ask that if you have chosen to refrain from being vaccinated or are traveling from out of town, please undergo Covid testing within 72 hours prior to our event.
As always, the health and safety of our friends and family will remain a priority to us and we will continue to monitor the ever-changing mandates.

We both attended college at Saint Martin's University as student athletes, playing for the men's and women's soccer teams respectively. And although the campus was small and our teams shared the same soccer field almost every day, we never really struck up a conversation until we both attended an Ugly Sweater Christmas party in the winter of 2014. Conversation flowed easily over a box of Franzia wine and the rest was history! We have supported each other through three college degrees, two career starts, and multiple moves across the country and even internationally. After four and a half years flew by, the big question was popped on June 21, 2019. The beach proposal was a perfect surprise with champagne and family present to celebrate as the sun set in the background. We couldn't be more excited to take this next step in our lives together and cannot wait to share our big day with you!
