"When you know you know"

Jake and I, living in the same area most of our lives and never running into one another, until the day we did....

One of his phrases from the beginning, "when you know, you know" and it was exactly that.

I'm standing in the check out line at the old Raspberries BBQ in Macon and he walks through the door, we lock eyes and both freeze, his friend literally running into the back of him. The universe stopped and it was just him and I standing in that room. Unsure of how much time went by, he strolls by me to find a seat, I check out and look over that direction before exiting the building and there he is with a cute smile on his face staring back at me.

5 minutes later, I have a FB message from him.

"I'm sorry for staring at you every time I see you"

We exchange some messages and several months later decide to meet up, inviting me over for dinner for a homecooked meal by he, himself....

And the rest is history
