Our Wedding

Some love stories start with a grand proposal and a big wedding. Ours started a little differently—okay, a lot differently. We skipped straight to the “happily ever after” part first, learning not just how to be husband and wife, but how to grow as individuals, as a couple, and as parents—all at the same time. Over the past ten years, we’ve lived in five different homes (not counting the wonderful in-between places where family and friends took us in—forever grateful!). We’ve navigated career changes, earned degrees and certifications, and most importantly, brought two incredible kids into this world. Along the way, we’ve laughed, we’ve learned, and we’ve truly grown up together. Our little courthouse wedding in Riverside, California, was just the two of us—no guests, no big celebration, just a simple “I do” to a lifetime of figuring it out as we go. And now, after years of building this beautiful, messy, love-filled life, we finally get to celebrate with the people who mean the most to us. So here’s to love—the kind that grows stronger with time, the kind that bends but never breaks, the kind that leads us right here, where we’re meant to be. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you!

Per the hotel, “Reservations for the event will be made by individual attendees directly with the Hotel - (252) 728-3000 or through the online reservation link. We will accept reservations for this block of guestrooms until cut-off 03/27/2025. At the 03/27/2025 Cut-Off Date, the unreserved rooms will be released for general sale.” Near Freedom ParkMake yourself at home in one of the 133 air-conditioned rooms featuring flat-screen televisions.
