Our Wedding

We met online like most people do these days in December 2021. We had dinner the first night and then Dan texted me the next morning asking for another date! We started to see each other regularly and then I went home for Christmas with a boyfriend named Dan. Unfortunately, I got stuck in Minnesota because of a snow storms in Minneapolis AND Seattle and a Sunday night. One of my friends was watching my dog and cat and I needed to get home to them ASAP. I could not get a flight out until Thursday, which was far too long! This whole time, I am talking to Dan about all the issues Im having trying to get home. Dan offers to drive to Minnesota to pick me up.... its a 24 hour drive, so I said no. But then, I looked into the Amtrak and figured out I could get to Montana and asked him if he could meet me in Montana. This man of three weeks of knowing me said, YES!. I told my mom my plan and she was worried about the snow and driving conditions, come to find out later she thought Dan would kill me. It was my only way home and I hopped on the train Monday night and asked Dan to pick up my dog Finn and meet me in Montana the next day. So there is was, stuck on a train, hoping this man picked up my dog and was going to be at the train station Havre, MT. After 20 long hours on the train, I got off and started looking for Dan and this man was there with Finn! We stayed the night in Havre, where it was -30 degrees, and then set off the next morning on a 12 hour drive back to Seattle. I knew at this point, after this road trip, We would either like each other a lot more...... or not. After making a stop in Helena, MT for lunch we put the peddle to the metal and drove back. I finally took over driving at Ellensburg for Dan to take a nap. We found out that Snoqualmie pass had gotten a lot of snow and it was a race against time to get through it! Here I was, driving a new truck while Dan was sleeping. I powered through the snow and we made it safely home! After that trip, Dan just neve left and I think its safe to say, we stilled liked each other after that trip!

Parking will not be available to guests for the wedding at The Treehouse Point. It is a VERY SMALL lot, so we will provide transportation from the Preston Park &amp; Ride, which is less than 2 miles away.
