Kait and Ty's love story began as many do these days : on a dating app. Kait knew Ty was someone special when, on their first date, Ty already had the Les Miserables soundtrack playing in the car. Ty knew Kait was a perfect fit when, at the end of the first date, said car had been towed and she just laughed it off as no big deal at all.

Their shared love of musical theater, all things nerdy, and their precious pups continued to strengthen their bond to one another. After a year of wonderful time spent with one another, they decided it was time to move in together (you know, just to make sure they could put up with each other's antics).

Less than a year later, they made the big move to Chicago together. This only strengthened and solidified their love for one another. Together, they continued to grow both as a couple and as individuals, until they decided to take the plunge into marriage.

Though they had already began to plan their wedding, Ty wanted to make sure that the actual proposal was special and romantic. On a spectacular trip to NYC before New Years, he proposed in Central Park (one of Kait's most loved spots in one of her favorite cities).

Kait and Ty are so immensely happy to be taking this journey through life together, and are so thrilled to be able to share their wedding day with you.
