Moss Glen Falls is a perfect spot for those looking to see some nature while traveling for the weekend. It is about a 0.5 mile flat nature walk that leads to breathtaking waterfalls and a swimming spot.

The Alchemist is a family run brewery specializing in fresh, unfiltered IPAs. Offering curbside pickup, brewery tours, and full pours on-site in our Beer Cafe! They also have a spacious outdoor beer garden during the summer months. The Alchemist is known for its Imperial IPA, Heady Topper, which is ranked as the No. 8 beer on BeerAdvocate.com.

The Green Mountain Inn is located on the Main Street in Stowe with lots of fun shops to explore. One of our favorite spots is the Stowe Mercantile.

Take the easy way up in the famous&nbsp;<a href="https://gostowe.com/listing/stowe-mountain-resort/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Stowe Mountain Resort</a>&nbsp;gondola. Spectacular views await you near the peak of Vermont’s highest mountain. From the gondola, access hiking trails in summer or stop for a bite at the&nbsp;<a href="https://gostowe.com/listing/cliff-house-restaurant/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Cliff House Restaurant</a>. Enjoy some sweet treats, drinks, or grab-and-go snacks from The Waffle to eat outside with your mountain views. Open daily from 10am-4:30pm.

The Lower Bar is located on Main St. in Stowe and has a great dive bar feel. Kait and Ryan enjoyed drinks and live music here just moments before their proposal. Lower bar is open 2pm-12am on Friday and Saturday.

The Stowe Village Massage is across the street from the Green Mountain Inn and the perfect place for some relaxation. Please book ahead of time to secure the date/time you are looking for.

One of our first dates was at Stowe Bowl. Grab some friends and enjoy a few rounds of bowling or mini golf located on the same site.

Check out Stowe Country Club for 9 or 18 holes. The course is located just down the road from the Green Mountain Inn.

Things to Do

Ryan and Kait met the summer of 2021 at The Reservoir restaurant in Waterbury, VT. From that moment on they were inseparable. They planned a series of dates, the most memorable being watching their family friend's band, the Lost Profits play at Foam Brewers. Through the many laughs and pints of Ben &amp; Jerry's, Kait and Ryan shared in those initial weeks; there was still an important factor that would determine the success of their relationship. When Kait introduced Ryan to her rescue dog Sampson and he loved Ryan as much as Kait did, she knew she had found the one. Ryan asked Kait to be his girlfriend shortly after and their love for one another continues to grow each day since.
