Z and I met late one night working a shift for our respective stations. We had communicated prior to our meet-cute (at the urging of our mutual work friends) and decided that texting and messaging each other paragraphs and pages could only go on so long. Z happened to be working in my area and we decided to meet on the side of the road before we OD'ed for the night.

We chose a large parking lot in a not-so-safe area between our two stations and set the time. I pulled into the parking lot and saw a white Jeep with a terribly out-of-date paper plate (no surprise if you know Zachary) and my nerves began reeling!

Z stepped out of the Jeep, tall, handsome and totally not what I was expecting. We talked well past our shifts and neither of us wanted to leave that parking lot. We both realized something special in the other that night and we never stopped talking.

Our first 'date' consisted of a home cooked meal and what I thought would be a day of funny movies, but we couldn't shut up! We talked all day and only stopped because Bubba (Zack's dog at the time) needed to be fed- and that barrel never missed a meal!

We quickly realized we both loved the outdoors, camping and exploring and we did just that! Becoming official wasn't a hard decision and the rest is history! We have spent so much time experiencing life the only way we know how, making friends and merging lives so seamlessly. We are both so ready to start our new journey together and are so glad you all will be a part of that!
