Getting to & from LAX

Public Transit

You can get to and from LAX via the FlyAway Bus. This runs every half hour during the peak times of the day and every hour during the slower times (i.e., overnight). The bus picks-up and drops-off at Union Station and is $9.75 each way. From there, we recommend grabbing a taxi/Uber to get to where you're staying.

Taxi/Rideshare

A Taxi or Uber ride from LAX will likely cost somewhere between $60 – $80, depending on time of day.

Note: Taxi/Uber/Lyfts are only accessible for pick-up from LAX-it. Free LAX-it shuttles arrive at each terminal outside of baggage claim on the first level and travel on a dedicated lane. Wait by the green LAX-it bus stop signs. Once at LAX-it, you will be able to call your car and meet your driver.

Alternatively, you can also walk to LAX-it. LAX-it is located next to Terminal 1. The walk route is marked with large LAX-it signs with a clear path to LAX-it on the sidewalk outside of baggage claim. There are also signage that mark the way from Terminal 7 to cross the street to LAX-it.

If you've never been to LA before...

Don't worry! Big cities, especially like LA, can get a bad rap for being overwhelming or hard to navigate. While we definitely do have a lot of city traffic, the airport and other transportation points are fairly easy to navigate.
