Our Wedding

We first met in December 2020 at Cole’s infamous Cleaver Street apartment in Wicker Park. For our first date, Cole decided to take Kaitlin to a Blackhawks game. Kaitlin thought it was because Cole knew she was a big Hawks fan. However, Cole’s parents’ first date was a hockey game - the Peoria Rivermen - and he had a feeling that it would become a full circle moment one day.Ever since, we’ve been attached at the hip. We have the most fun when we’re together, whether it’s trying a new coffee shop, running together along the 606 Trail, or finding a new dinner spot downtown.Although we fell in love in Chicago, our story goes far beyond here, with our most special moment being in Sanibel, Florida. While on a family trip, Cole proposed to Kaitlin on the beach. To Kaitlin’s surprise, her parents were waiting for her at the restaurant afterwards (which may have surprised her even more than the proposal!).We hope our wedding with all of you is another great memory in what’s been an amazing journey together so far. Of course, since we started our dating life like Cole’s parents with a hockey game, we figured it would only be right to start married life like Kaitlin’s parents - with a honeymoon in Hawaii!
