The incline would definitely earn you some bragging rights after your trip to Colorado! This is a MUST DO if you are looking to get a CHALLENGING workout in during your stay. Not recommended for the first day at high altitude & also not for those who are not well-conditioned. Reservations online are required!
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

The downtown area of Manitou Springs is FULL of gift shops and history! A short drive from Colorado Springs at the base of Cheyenne Mountain!
Mt Cutler and Mt Muscoco Trailhead

Beautiful Park and one of our favorite hikes (Mt. Cutler)/ hammocking spots next to the river!
You can continue driving to the top of the park to enjoy Helen Hunt Falls which is a mild and short hike!

Royal Gorge Bridge & Park

AMAZING site for the most incredible Colorado views. The drive to the gorge alone is beautiful! An easy day trip for anyone that might have a car/ or is renting a car. There is something for everyone here!
