Kaitlin and James met in the sixth grade at Lincoln Middle School in Edwardsville, IL. They were even on the same team in the 7th grade. Truth be told Kaitlin had a crush on James in the 8th grade, but he turned her down because they were going into Highschool and having a girlfriend as a Freshman wasn’t part of his plan. In the back of Kaitlin’s head she knew he would rue that decision one day.

They went on to be friends through high school and even college. James went on to study C.I.S. at C.U. Denver and Kaitlin stuied business at SIUE.

In mid 2020, someone working at J.F. Electric informed Kaitlin that James was moving back to Edwardsville. She immediately texted James after hearing the news. James was in Hawaii at the time and they waited 2 weeks to reconnect in Edwardsville.

They hung out, became friends, and noticed something much deeper than friendship. 20 years later James was now the one that was swooning over Kaitlin.

They found each other again and at the exact moment they were meant to; and now they want to live the rest of their lives together.
