On The Groom's Side! BEST MAN: Daniel Tachibana — Daniel and I have been the best of friends since the 7th grade, and have been through ups and downs together, traveled abroad together, camped together and seen concerts together. Most importantly though, Daniel has always been there for me, and for that I’m forever grateful. I couldn’t hope for anyone better to be my Best Man. Truly. OFFICIANT: John Ainsworth — John and I met at a bar in 2013, and have been friends ever since. We have worked together at Camp YATC, gone bowling on countless occasions, and bonded as brothers. Most importantly though, John has always showed up — not just for me, but for Kaitlin and my countless friends and family who have been blessed with his presence. You of course are not obligated to stay at Cambria Pines Lodge, and there are B&B’s, other motels, and home rentals in the area. It’s a small town so everything is close. The ceremony and reception will be at Cambria Pines Lodge, and lots of fun opportunities to visit with friends, family, and new friends will occur there.

Travel & Lodging

Enjoy strolling the one-mile boardwalk that meanders all along the splendid coast between Cambria’s north end to Leffingwell Landing and back. Or find refuge on the abundance of wooden benches along the beach park and spend a relaxing afternoon listening to the ocean’s melody while watching whales, dolphins, and birds. Beachcombing, exploring tide pools and viewing the sea otters as they frolic in the waves are also favorite pastimes.

Moonstone Beach Boardwalk

The most outstanding natural feature of the preserve is the dramatic ocean bluff that runs more than a mile along the shoreline. The rocky coast rises to a 200-foot ridge with breath-taking views of migrating whales, birds, and playful otters before sloping southeastward to the willow-edged creek.

Explore Fiscalini Ranch Preserve

One of my favorite places to eat in Cambia, and well worth a stop. Great menu, locally sourced produce, and next to a lot of fun art galleries and shops.

Dine At Robin's

Whether you are a local or a visitor, Cambrias fascinating history is alive and well in East Village. Discover it by just taking a walk around town. Heres a brief guide prepared by Cambrias native-born rancher/historian, Dawn Dunlap. This tour begins at the eastern edge, and earliest area, of the village.

One of the best things about a weekend getaway to Cambria on the Central Coast is the close proximity to all of the incredible wineries in the area. Grapes grown in the unique coastal climate have a flavor unlike any other, attracting wine lovers from all over the world. Friday, May 30th 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM – Bride &amp; Groom Welcome Drinks at Cambria Pines Lodge Your first drink is on us, so head to the Lounge Bar, grab a beverage on our tab, and then join us at the gazebo for some light snacks and hugs.&nbsp; Saturday, May 31st 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM – Ceremony Please gather at the Gazebo at Cambria Pines Lodge, sign our book, take some photos, enjoy the gardens, and then grab a seat!&nbsp; 4:30 - 5:30 PM - Cocktail Hour Drinks, appetizers, and music on the lawn directly after the ceremony! 5:30 PM - 10:00 PM - Reception Dinner, more drinks, dancing, and lots of love! It’s a buffet, so eat up. 10:00 PM - After Party Join us in the Cambria Pines Lodge Lounge Bar for a late-night hang with live music. Sunday, June 1st 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM – Farewell Stroll at Fiscalini Ranch Preserve.&nbsp; Please enjoy a stroll along one of our favorite places in Cambria and where we took our engagement photos.
