Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
The ceremony will be held on the covered rooftop of The Story Venue. Cocktail hour and reception will be held downstairs on the main level of The Story Venue
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code is semi-formal. Guests could wear button-down shirts, khakis/dark jeans/dress pants, sports coat, dresses, shirt and skirt combo, jumpers, or pantsuits.
Guests are encouraged to wear bright, fun spring colors!
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors on the covered rooftop. Cocktail hour and reception will be indoors downstairs on main level.
Are there stairs?
YES, with handrails on both sides. The venue is 3 levels - rooftop, game room, and reception space. There are no elevators.
Are kids welcome?
No. Please take a date night on us!
Can I bring a date?
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and on track with catering. Our wedding is strictly RSVP and only those with indicated +1 are allowed to bring guests.
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Yes. We have blocked rooms at The Graduate Hotel, which is a 3-minute walk to and from the wedding venue. Mention "Moore Wedding Block" or enter Group Code: 6314532 by April 2nd.
In addition, there are other hotels within walking distance to the wedding venue including AC Marriott and The Carolina Inn.
Will food be served at the reception?
Yes. Mediterranean Deli will provide a buffet of options for dinner.
Is there alcohol at the reception?
As a thank you for celebrating our wedding with us, we are having unlimited beer, wine, hard seltzers, and sodas for a certain time period. There will be a cash bar for liquor.
