Our Wedding

Kaitlin and Josh met in October 2020. Kaitlin was tired of coming home after work and not having a social life. Kristin, Kaitlin's friend in Arizona, told her to download Hinge to meet people. Josh was the only person she talked to. After one day of talking Kaitlin deleted the app. Josh didn't have the same experience prior to meeting Kaitlin. They spent two weeks texting prior to meeting in person because Josh was in New York then Colorado with a broken wrist. Communication was nonstop through texts and SnapChat. They finally went on their first date on Monday, Oct. 12th to Mellow Mushroom in Lakeland. Josh had picked a great place that they continue to frequent. Kaitlin was worried the date didn't go well because he didn't kiss her when the night ended. However, they texted their friends about how great the night went. Josh says that he kept ordering drinks just to keep the date going. Who knows how long they would have sat there if the restaurant didn't close at 9:00. The two continued to text and SnapChat throughout the day and nights that followed. The next weekend, they found themselves at Disney World to play mini golf/ putt putt. On the way back to the Jeep they held hands. Before Josh opened the door, he kissed her. Kaitlin was completely caught off guard! Kaitlin and Josh began dating on October 31, 2020 and have been inseparable since. Except, however, when Kaitlin goes home work a week at a time. Since then, Josh has began working for Disney again, they've had many trips to Disney, trips kayaking, a trip to Hawaii, planning a trip to Scottsdale and Disneyland, and of course the trip to Key West. The two had always wanted to go to Key West, but days off together are far and few between. Kaitlin and Josh went to Key West for a long weekend at the beginning of April. While there were some bumps in the road (due to Kaitlin's cheap hotel attempt and swallowing some bad ocean water) , the weekend was amazing and filled with surprise. They made their way down Duval Street to the Southernmost Point of the U.S where Josh proposed! Now, here we are planning a wedding and finding ways to celebrate with all our family and friends!

Our History 

Kaitlin participated in the college program in Spring 2015 and Josh participated in the college program 2018-19. We both went home for sometime, Josh 6 months, Kaitlin 5 years, before moving back permanently to Florida! Josh now works for Disney and Kaitlin hopes to one day be back working at Disney.
