Things to Do

Explore Asbury Park

Picture of Explore Asbury Park

Asbury Park is a beach town along the Jersey Shore with a rich history dating back to the late 1800's. It's home to a beautiful shoreline and boardwalk, iconic music scene (including Jersey's very own Bruce Springsteen), historic buildings, and a vibrant food and nightlife scene.

Although November will not be peak beach weather, strolling along the beach/boardwalk during this time of year is lovely. The town is very walkable once you are here with numerous cafes, restaurants, and bars (notably along Cookman Avenue).

The City of Brotherly Love is a ~1.5 hour drive from Asbury Park via the NJ Turnpike. Visit Independence Hall or the Liberty Bell, check out the Museum of Art and run up the stairs Rocky style, or seek out a delicious philly cheesteak or italian hoagie.
