From the moment I saw Kaitlin, I had a huge crush on her. I even (somewhat jokingly) told my coworkers "I'm going to marry that girl" after asking them who she was. Meeting Kaitlin required more than just luck. One day, while working in the golf shop, I noticed her name on the tee sheet for the following day-- she was scheduled to play with a close friend of mine! After strategizing potential texts with the golf shop staff, I texted my friend to suggest that she and I play golf some time soon. She was open to the idea and invited me to play with her and Kaitlin, not knowing my full intentions. After my dream came true of golfing with Kaitlin, it became more than a crush. I knew she was the one for me, and it became it my mission to convince her of the same. Little did I know that those joking words I said years ago would one day come true, and "that girl" would be my wife. - David

I remember the first time I saw David. We were at the driving range- I was trying (and failing) to even hit the ball, nervous because I was playing with new, "really good" golfers the following day. I remember David pulling up in a cart because everyone greeted him upon his arrival; he was clearly some kind of a big deal. He promptly set up and began hitting balls into the fence at the end of the range. I distinctly remember thinking, "I hope I never have to play with that guy." Little did I know, not only was David one of the "really good" players I was scheduled to play with the next day, but just three years later I would be promising to play a lifetime of rounds with the man I'm now lucky enough to marry. - Kaitlin
