Doug and Kaitlin met while working at the TGI Friday’s in Creve Coeur, Missouri. They began to hang out after work and they became friends. But, one night at a work get together they kissed and realized they were more than just friends. Kaitlin worked her way through school and got a job offer in Spokane, Washington. Doug decided to move right along with her. After 8 years together, Doug got down on one knee, on his 30th birthday in front of their friends and his mother, and asked Kaitlin to be his wife. Right after getting engaged, Doug and Kaitlin bought a home and started wedding planning. They live in their new home with their cats Lou and Peeta.
