Greg had recently started his senior year at Bridgewater State University, Katie starting her junior year. Within the first week of classes, Katie was invited by her roommate to have lunch with “the guys”. Arriving at the table in Bear’s Den, Katie almost immediately pointed to the guy with the beard in the red lifeguard sweatshirt asking what his name was.

Days later, Katie was walking to class with their mutual friend who told her his friend Greg was going to meet and walk with them. Katie was officially introduced to Greg. Genuine, kind, and funny, Katie was instantly smitten with him.

They began hanging out a bit more as friends, hitting it off almost immediately. After dropping several hints that she was interested, she eventually went back to the friend that introduced them – asking him to set them up.

Unknowingly, Greg had inquired if she was interested in anybody to which their friend responded with “actually, you.” The rest is history.
