Honestly, it all started on Tinder. Katie saw Zach’s profile and thought it stood out from the rest and so she sent him a message. This was all during the very beginning of the covid pandemic, so there weren’t any places they could go at the time besides parks, so their first date was at the Tempe Beach Park!

They bonded over Katie’s Beta fish’s name at the time because it was from Dragon Ball Z, its name was Trunks for those who are wondering hahaha. From their first phone call it was like they could easily talk to each other about anything; it lasted for over an hour! Their second call was over FaceTime, and that call was almost 4 hours long!

It remains the same today, 4 years together, and they still talk to each other about anything and everything!
