Bring sunscreen and water!

Can rent a boat, rent paddle boards (from NoSnow Paddleboards) or kayaks. There is a small beach (Butcher Jones), also a beautiful hike around the lake. DOES require a $8 day pass, which can be purchased on site or at any local gas station :)

There are tons of hikes in and around Phoenix. At this time of year, I would recommend going early in the morning or for a sunset hike. Also bring LOTS of water.

About a 2 hour drive from Phoenix. If you are staying for a longer period of time, we highly recommend checking it out. Lots to do and cooler than the Valley!
