Kaitlyn & Mason met their freshman year at ISU through mutual friends. Mason asked Kaitlyn on a date to Cold Stone for some ice cream, and they instantly became inseparable. Who would've thought they would meet their future spouse in the dorms freshman year!

During college, Kaitlyn & Mason enjoyed traveling together, attending various ISU sporting events, and spending time with friends and family. They studied abroad together in London over Spring Break their senior year. Their favorite places to visit is Gulf Shores, Alabama. If you have any travel destination recommendations, they would love to hear them!

Kaitlyn & Mason graduated in the Spring of 2022. Following graduation, they moved into their first apartment together in southern Minnesota to start their post-grad adventures. Mason worked as a Software Developer in Owatonna, MN and Kaitlyn's first job was a Marketing Coordinator in Mankato, MN. It was so fun for them to get to experience new & different things.

They became pet parents to their dog, Trice, in January of 2023! They have so much love for their little guy!

Mason proposed to Kaitlyn in July of 2023 at Chankaska Creek Winery! "Let's take a walk" after a glass of wine turned into, "Will You Marry Me?" He completely surprised her and got down on one knee while a photographer was hiding and caught the moment on camera. Mason was so nervous - he proposed with the ring box upside down! They went to Ames the next day to celebrate with friends. Since then, they have moved back to Ames, and just bought their first house! The two of them couldn't be more excited to start this new chapter in their lives! Mr. & Mrs. Thomas coming soon!
