Our Wedding

Kaitlyn & Robert met at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville through mutual friends, but they first remember meeting at SAE formal in Myrtle Beach, SC their sophomore year. They remained close friends in college, had supply chain classes together, and Robert (“Bob”) took Kaitlyn (“Deds”) to a local date party their junior year. They kept in contact after school, when Kaitlyn moved to Atlanta and Bob moved back to Nashville to start their new jobs. She was exploring ATL and always wanted her college friends to visit. Bob would come down for lake trips and bar crawls and they always made an effort to see each other when she was back home visiting friends. In November of 2019, Bob asked Kaitlyn to be his girlfriend at New Realm Brewery on the Beltline with the Atlanta skyline in the background. After doing long-distance, Kaitlyn was transferred back to Nashville for work, right before the pandemic. Soon after, they adopted 2 sweet kittens (Phoebe and Felix) and Bob completed his MBA. Many nights on Broadway, lots of dancing at their friends’ weddings, and countless dinners later…Bob got down on one knee at Cheekwood under the Christmas lights on December 22nd, 2023. Bob asked Kaitlyn to be his wife and she enthusiastically gave him a big bear hug and said “yes”!
