After a little bit of just talking, I finally got the guts to ask Katie on a date. She said absolutely, but it would have to be once she got back from a trip to Ireland that she was taking. I thought we would never go on a date but she couldn't get me or my stunning looks off her mind while in Ireland. Once she was back, we went on a date to the famous BigBoy. From there on out she was absolutely hooked. Better yet, I should say I was absolutely hooked.

By our second date, I just knew this was the girl I was going to marry. She wasn't sure if she really wanted to date me right away, but I was willing to wait for however long it would take to win her heart over.

Katie is the most loving, sincere, authentic, and kind-hearted person I have ever met. I knew back on our second date that this day would come, and guess what, June 29th it is happening and I couldn't be more excited to get to spend the rest of my life with Katie. The day we say "I do" will be the best day of my life.
