Welcome to our wedding website- we look forward to celebrating our big day with you! We have created this as a way to communicate important details with our guests in preparation for our wedding. We are aware that Cape Cod is a destination for many and scheduling time away from family and work may be difficult; we sincerely understand if you cannot join and hope to see you soon. FAQs

We ask that the ceremony be a phone &amp; camera - less event. We have hired both Photographers &amp; Videographers to capture our special moments.

Black Tie Optional

Men: Tuxedos are preferred, but not required – a dark colored suit works too. Women: Formal dress

(Weather permitting) the ceremony will be on the rooftop. We recommend bringing sunglasses and sunscreen.

Getting to Cape Cod

It's just a&nbsp;short&nbsp;60 miles from Boston to Cape Cod, with different transportation options to choose from.&nbsp; Drive. Bus. Or take a short flight from Logan Airport. During the summer months you can come&nbsp;by train or ferry, too.&nbsp; Drive: From Boston take I-93S to Route 3 South. After ~90 minutes you will find yourself over the Sagamore Bridge and officially on Cape Cod! (Expect traffic for peak season and 4th of July). Train: Cape Flyer <a href="https://capeflyer.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://capeflyer.com/</a> Air: Cape Air now offers&nbsp;<a href="https://www.capeair.com/theme/single-news.html?id=1510" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">expanded service</a>&nbsp;between Barnstable Municipal Airport, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City. JetBlue offers seasonal flights from Hyannis to NYC, as well as to the Islands.

Where to stay

Although we do not have a hotel block, we recommend our guests book their accommodations at the earliest convenience. We have a list of nearby hotels as well as links to AirBnB &amp; VRBO below. Recommended areas: Harwich, Chatham, Dennis Port. *Please keep in mind that peak season on Cape is extremely busy and tends to book out far in advance. Two-night minimums are typical for almost all hotels &amp; AirBnBs. *If you are planning on traveling day of, please allow plenty of time as it is 4th of July weekend and traffic will likely be heavy.

We feel extremely lucky to have amazing friends and family from all chapters of our lives. While we would love to have everyone by our side, we decided not to do a traditional wedding party. We felt it was important to allow our closest members to relax &amp; enjoy our special weekend.

Ashley Turner is Kait's older sister and her best friend. She resides in Wakefield, MA with her husband Kevin and is a Labor & Delivery Nurse in Cambridge. In April 2022 Ashley became a new mom to Olivia Catherine!

Things to Do

We met online in July 2019; yes a true modern day fairytale. After a few exchanges, we had our first date at Pier 6 rooftop in Charlestown, MA. It was a picture-perfect summer night with cotton candy skies and boats traveling in and out of the harbor. For those who are unfamiliar with this location, we personally think it is one of the best views of the Boston skyline. Soon into us dating we realized we couldn't go more than a few days without seeing one another. Although we consider ourselves independent individuals, this was the easiest friendship &amp; relationship either of us had been in. The saying 'when you know, you know' stood pretty true for us way quicker than we could have imagined and we never looked back. Shaine surprised Kait with a trip to Aruba as a Christmas present in February 2020. When we returned home, the rise of Covid resulted in lockdowns so we made the decision to quarantine together to be safe for our families. Kait moved in with Shaine and his two roommates in Brighton, MA - thanks Joe &amp; Kyle! From there, our love for each-other grew stronger as did Shaine's real estate adventures. We moved to Shaine's first investment property in Hyde Park, MA where it was clear no matter where we lived or what was happening in the world, we were on this journey together. That journey led us to Kait's hometown of Wakefield, MA where we moved in with Jan &amp; Greg Guidi (Kait's parents) for the summer of 2021. ...Yes, you read that correctly. After almost a year of construction we moved into South Boston, MA where Shaine proposed on October 2, 2021 (move-in day!) In March 2022, we officially went into business together when Kait purchased her dream home on Cape Cod which we now occupy and AirBnB for summer rentals. We feel extremely lucky to call Cape Cod home, especially during this special time. We can't wait to have all of our favorite people in our favorite place 6.30.23!
