Our story began at a cozy restaurant in Philadelphia named Barbuzzo. From the moment we sat down, the conversation flowed effortlessly, and we quickly discovered a unique connection through our professions. To our surprise, we had worked in the same building for almost a full year—on different floors—before Kait had started a new job. That serendipitous realization only added to the magic of the night. Amongst the growing affinity between us, we shared a few plates. We’d be remiss not to mention the unforgettable squid ink pasta.

As we spent more time together, we discovered just how much we had in common. We’re both kind-hearted people who prioritize helping others, deeply value family, love exploring new places, and treasure our trips to the beach.

Our journey has been filled with so many amazing adventures—weekend getaways to Florida, Boston, and DC; countless walks through Philadelphia and on numerous beaches; trying new restaurants; attending events around the city; and, of course, our cherished weekly trips to Victory Brewing.

The love that began to grow was never a question. We knew from the beginning it was truly meant to be.

On August 31, 2024, Frank planned a perfect evening at Tomatoes in Margate. After a wonderful dinner, we took a stroll on the beach in Ocean City, where Frank knelt down on one knee and asked Kait to marry him. It was a moment we’ll treasure forever—the beginning of the next chapter of our story.
