Our Wedding

Kaitlyn moved to San Marcos in August of 2021, and so did Jacob. Their paths crossed many times, but they didn’t meet until May 2022. Their love for live music is what drew them together, and once they met, they were inseparable. Many people would ask them if they were high school sweethearts because they go together so well and their chemistry was unmatched. They have taught each other so much about themselves and each other through the years. Their first year together was full of fun and adventure, they knew they would get married well before the year mark, but Kaitlyn told Jacob if he asked her before they were together at least a year she would say no. Throughout the second year of being a couple, they decided to move in together to see if they would be able to manage the different dynamic that involved preparing a lifetime together. Jacob attempted to ask Richard while they were in Gruene, but Richard beat him to it. Jacob was at a loss of words, and froze. Luckily he was able to propose while everyone watched on the cruise. Jacob tried to make it as discrete as possible, but Kaitlyn knew the entire time. Kaitlyn let Jacob go through the whole day with her accepting all his suggestions and they ended the day engaged. Jacob and Kaitlyn decided to have their wedding on their fourth anniversary, August 8, 2026.
