Dylan and Kaitlyn met back in December of 2017 through their best friends, Jenna and Chase. At the time, Kaitlyn was a sophomore navigating the hallways of Blair High School, while Dylan was a freshman finding his footing at South Dakota State University. After getting to know each other, they both decided to tell their parents about one another. Lets just say that didnt go very well... Both families agreed that Kaitlyn was way too young for Dylan. After some tears and convincing, Kaitlyn finally got her parents to give him a chance. Now look where they are!!

Kaitlyn had one rule for Dylan and that was she didnt want to have a clue when or how he was going to propose. In June of 2023, they had a family vacation planned in Destin, Florida. Dylan thought it was the best time to pop the question.

On June 13, 2023, Dylan had planned the most PERFECT day! As they were getting ready to go out for a nice dinner, the “restaurant” had called and said their reservations were pushed back an hour. To waste some time, Dylan got Kaitlyn to go down and take pictures on the beach. Dylan had hired photographers to hide and capture their special moment. Dylan finally got down on one knee and popped the question! Kaitlyn had to be reminded to say “yes” as she was so surprised he actually pulled off her one rule! It was truly the best day ever.

After seven wonderful years together, filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories, they are overjoyed to share their upcoming wedding celebration with all of their cherished loved ones. They eagerly await the joy of celebrating with you all!💓🥂
