Joshua will tell you that he first laid eyes on Kaitlyn at a cross country meet, and it became mutual when Kaitlyn found Joshua's profile on a dating app. After a week or two of talking, Joshua asked Kaitlyn on a date!

On October 24th, 2020, we went on our first date. After dinner at Squeaky's, strolling through Walmart, and coffee from Kwik Trip, Joshua dropped Kaitlyn off at her parent's house, BUT not before asking her if she would like to go out again.

So one week later, on Halloween, Joshua found himself in Mankato where we went on our second date. It was on this date that Joshua leaned over to Kaitlyn and asked if she wanted to be his girlfriend. Obviously, you know what she said!

Joshua and Kaitlyn are not the biggest celebrators of Valentine's Day, but when the idea came about to spend the weekend with family and friends, they could not turn that down! We went to Sioux Falls, South Dakota and had an absolute blast. It has become (and hopefully will continue to be) a tradition for the couples to do every Valentine's Day weekend.

It was during one of those Valentine's weekend trips where Joshua proposed to Kaitlyn! Despite Kaitlyn almost finding out a handful of times, it ended up being a complete surprise. It will forever be a special and beautiful memory for them both.

Joshua and Kaitlyn are beyond excited for their wedding! We are ready to join two wonderful families together and start a new chapter as husband and wife. We look forward to celebrating with you!
